Saif al-Islam Gaddafi Gets Killed in Libya’s Zintan
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of Libya’s former ruler Muammar Gaddafi, has reportedly been killed in the western city of Zintan, according to statements made by his legal representatives on Tuesday evening.
According to reports, the fatal attack occurred at his home and was allegedly carried out by four unknown assailants. The same accounts said security cameras at the location were deliberately shut down before the incident took place.
As stated by officials, the country’s Attorney General has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Separately, the 444 Combat Brigade issued a statement “categorically” rejecting any role in the incident.
Information about the case remains limited, and no formal confirmation has yet been released by Libyan authorities.
